Thousands Protest Shabbos Breaches in Jerusalem

Torah-true Jews in Jerusalem were shocked and outraged when a municipality parking lot opened on Shabbos Kodesh.
Last week, Erev Shabbos Parshas Behaalosecha gedolei Yisroel shlita issued a public notice saying whoever was able to protest the blatant trampling of Shabbos should come to the demonstration. Led by prominent rabbonim, thousands turned out. Six protesters were arrested , including a 16-year-old boy.
At Nationwide Conference Hatzoloh Volunteers Urged to Stand Firm

At a nationwide conference held at the end of last week gedolei Yisroel shlita told Hatzoloh Union and Hatzoloh Gush Dan volunteers they should carry out their holy work only through the existing framework under the management of observant Jews who firmly uphold the directives of the rabbonim, based on guidance from gedolei Yisroel shlita, not subjecting themselves to the dictates of Magen David Adom figures seeking to distance chareidi volunteers.
