Psychiatric Treatment Center Slated for Construction in Bnei Brak

Warehouses belonging to the Bnei Brak Municipality are being moved temporarily to a site near the Kiryat Herzog neighborhood to make room for the construction of the Chibah psychiatric treatment center adjacent to Maayanei Hayeshua Hospital according to information made available during a meeting held in the office of Mayor Rabbi Yaakov Asher.

HaRav Shmuel Auerbach was among a number of roshei yeshivos and rabbonim who came together at the home of Maran HaRav Eliashiv shlita for the founding ceremony of Mercaz Chinuch. HaRav Eliashiv offered his blessings for the success of the enterprise and answered various questions on chinuch.
HaRav Dovid Ben Tzion Klein zt"l

Prominent figures from the Torah world were on hand at the large levaya held for HaRav Dovid Ben Tzion Klein zt"l, who served as the rov of Yesodot for the past 60 years. A remnant of the illustrious rabbonim of the prewar generation, he passed away at the age of 90. Yesodot is one of the small agricultural settlements originally affiliated with the Agudas Yisroel movement.
