Education Ministry Fined for Deliberately Covering Up the
Success of a Chareidi Educational Project
A district court fined the Education Ministry NIS 13,500 ($3,500) for violating the Freedom of Information Law by hiding an NIS 1 million study on the results of math achievement tests for first- and second-graders that showed the superiority of a method developed by two chareidi teachers from Bnei Brak.
Jerusalem's Ramot neighborhood is set to become a center of activity for the chareidi sector of Jerusalem in the coming months based on a comprehensive plan led by Mayor Rabbi Uri Lupoliansky to build halls, community centers and leisure facilities.
"All of the moves related to the conversion system are totally coordinated with Chief Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar," Minister Ruhama Avraham (Balila) (Kadima) told the Knesset plenum this week, while responding to a no-confidence motion filed by UTJ and HaIchud HaLeumi-NRP on "the Prime Minister's intervention in halachic issues and distortion of conversion procedures."

rabbonim, public figures, principals, education directors,
inspectors and top educators.

If one's wisdom is greater, so must his deeds be, or else he will not succeed in Torah. By "deeds" Chazal include everything that a person does or does not do. Only if everything he does is up to the level of his wisdom will his Torah be an antidote to the yetzer hora.
