Attorney General Scolded Rabbi Druckman, But No Charges Brought

The State Prosecutor's Officer has been ill at ease. An investigation conducted by reporter Eliezer Levine showed that efforts have been made to cover up Rabbi Druckman's acts because publicity could embarrass Attorney General Meni Mazuz, who decided to forego an investigation of the affair without offering any rational explanation.
MK Gafni Demands Judicial Ombudsman Retract Recommendation to Remove Dayan Sherman from Office

In a harsh letter to the Commission for Public Grievances Against Judges MK Rabbi Moshe Gafni demanded retired Judge Tova Strasberg-Cohen retract her recommendation to remove from his post Dayan Avrohom Sherman, who headed a ruling by the Rabbinate Beis Din Godol annulling a fictitious conversion performed by Rabbi Chaim Druckman, and expressed his astonishment over the absurd arguments she presents in her recommendation.
Chareidi Foreign Investors Purchase NIS 4 Billion in Real Estate Holdings

Commercial real-estate holdings in Israel by chareidi and other religious Jews living outside of Israel totaled over $4 billion shekels over the past two years according to a special study released to mark the Managers' Forum scheduled to take place next month at the International Conference Center (Binyanei Ha'uma) in Jerusalem.

The chairman of the Jewish community in Berlin, Lala Susskind, issued a surprising call to publish Mein Kampf ("My Battle"), Adolph Hitler's infamous work, arguing that it would reveal the Nazi leader's intentions to the masses. "The book is evidence of what the public should have known at the time," she said.

A stunned crowd numbering in the thousands, including hundreds of Chinuch Atzmai principals and thousands of teachers and other top educators, were on hand for the levaya of Rav Meir Luria, a prominent Slonimer chossid and one of the heads of Chinuch Atzmai, who died unexpectedly at the age of 69 on Tuesday morning, 14 Sivan. The Rosh Yeshiva HaRav Aharon Leib Shteinman, HaRav Shmuel Halevi Wosner, the Admor of Slonim, roshei yeshivos, rabbonim, dayanim and marbitzei Torah all took part in the funeral.
