15 New Dayanim Selected for Rabbinate Botei Din

The Dayanim Selection Committee convened in the office of
Committee Chairman, Justice Minister Prof. Daniel Friedman,
on Monday and appointed 15 new dayanim to the
Rabbinate botei din.
The new dayanim: HaRav Daniel Edri, HaRav Binyamin
Attias, HaRav Yishai Buchris, HaRav Tzvi Birnbaum, HaRav
Moshe Batzri, HaRav Yitzchak Hadaya, HaRav Yanai Ariel, HaRav
Zevadia Cohen, HaRav Tzion Luz, HaRav Schneur Pardes, HaRav
Meir Kahn, HaRav Yosef Rabinovitz, HaRav Mordechai Ralbag,
HaRav Shlomo Stassman and HaRav David Shani.
During the meeting members of the Selection Committee noted
the appointment of the new dayonim would streamline
the work of the botei din system, which has not had
new appointments for several years.
