A mournful crowd was on hand at the levaya on Erev
Shabbos Chayei Soroh for Mrs. Yuta Hannah Rabinowitz
o"h, the daughter of the Admor of Ozherov-Chanchin and
the wife of HaRav Pinchos Eliyohu Rabinowitz, the son of the
Admor of Biale-Peshischa, who passed away at a young age
after great suffering and left behind her seven orphans.
The deceased was born 33 years ago in Tel Aviv into an
illustrious home, where she acquired nobles traits, yiras
Shomayim and mesirus nefesh for Yiddishkeit. Ever
aspiring for a spiritual life filled with Torah, her friends
nicknamed her the "Tzadekes."
Upon marrying Rav Pinchos Eliyohu Rabinowitz she dedicated
herself to her husband and accepted a life of frugality to
allow her husband to devote himself to Torah and avodas
Hashem. She also carried the yoke of earning a living for
her family by working as a teacher at a school in Yesodot.
Two years ago she fell sick with a terrible disease
Rachmono litzlan. She bore her suffering stoically,
hiding it from her family to avoid distressing them, and
through extraordinary efforts continued the task of raising
her children for Torah and yiras Shomayim and standing
at her husband's side.
A few weeks ago her condition deteriorated and she had to be
hospitalized until she returned her soul to her Maker late
Thursday night on Erev Shabbos Parshas Chayei
Soroh.
The levaya set out from the Ozherov beis
medrash in Bnei Brak. The first of the eulogizers was her
father, the Admor of Ozherov-Chanchin, followed by her father-
in-law, the Admor of Biale-Peshischa.
The streets were packed with people accompanying the
mittoh as it proceeded past the Biale-Peshischa
beis medrash to Ponovezh Cemetery, where she was
buried near her grandfather, the Admor of Ozherov-
Chanchin.
Following stimas hagolel her bereaved husband spoke
about his late wife's strong qualities and her steadfast
emunah despite the suffering she underwent.
Mrs. Yuta Channah Rabinowitz o"h is survived by her
parents and grandparents, her husband, brothers and sisters
and seven children ranging in age from two to twelve. Based
on instructions issued by rabbonim a special fund has been
set up by Kupat Ha'ir Bnei Brak (#1080) to help keep the
family functioning.
