MK Gafni Proposes Applying Ethical Guidelines to
Dayanim

MK Rabbi Moshe Gafni tabled a bill to have ethical guidelines
apply to dayanim at Rabbinate botei din.
The Knesset recently approved a series of ethical guidelines
for judges serving in the secular court system. During the
course of Knesset Committee meetings to discuss these
guidelines a proposal was raised to have them apply to
dayanim as well, but in order to prevent any delays it
was decided a similar bill for Rabbinate botei din
should be submitted separately.
