Hatzoloh Israel has installed an advanced first aid cabinet
at the Kosel Maarovi in Jerusalem, including a full
resuscitation kit, bandages and other first aid supplies for
use in the event of an emergency.
Throughout the year Magen David Adom frequently dispatched on-
call Hatzoloh volunteers to handle emergencies in the area of
the Kosel Maarovi and the nearby passageways. "The
resuscitation cabinet will accelerate the administration of
medical treatment and help save lives," says Hatzoloh Israel
Chairman David Greenwald.
Magen David Adom and Hatzoloh Israel volunteers provide
medical treatment for visitors to the Kosel Maarovi during
Chol Hamoed and days when mass tefillos are held.
Throughout the year, Hatzoloh Israel regularly installs
resuscitation cabinets at locations around the country.
Hatzoloh Israel recently added five motorcycles to its
national fleet. Donated by US patrons, the new motorcycles
are outfitted with advanced life-saving equipment.
Two of them will join the motorcycle unit in Jerusalem, two
in Tel Aviv and one in Migdal Ha'emek. Hatzoloh Israel says
the addition of the new motorcycles is part of a campaign to
add life-saving equipment around the country.
