CHAPTER 10
Momma had thirteen 'tappings' (fluid removed from her lungs).
Each time she had to be hospitalized. At times when she would
think she was going to die, she asked me to stay with her
during the night. I would sit in the chair next to her bed.
During those long, quiet hours I had time to think of many
things, and look back to past years.

I failed my first test this morning.

I sat last night in a class on Orchos Tzadikim, given
by Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller, and realized that while I
thought I was a pretty giving person, I was not up to par to
the standards that Hashem sets for us.

Tatty's Invention Raizel's sick, so I'm writing. Flu. Overdid it Pesach cleaning. She's usually good about pacing herself, but this time she got nervous due to her brother-in-law coming from Monsey for Pesach.

To Criticize, to Encourage
We see others making mistakes, and we criticize them. We
believe that this will improve the problem. Mostly though, it
makes matters worse. The criticism stings, hurts, gives rise
to resentment, and the need to take revenge.
