Interior Ministry to Close for Pesach

With all government employees on vacation for Chol Hamoed the
Population Administration of the Interior Ministry (Misrad
Hapnim) will provide only limited services, such as
arranging passports and travel documents in the event of
emergency.
Population Administration bureaus are urging the public to
arrange their affairs before the staff goes on vacation.
Officials also remind the public the law requires only
Israeli travel documents for travelers entering and exiting
the country. Starting last October child passports are only
valid for a period of five years.
During Chol Hamoed information will be available at the
national information center, which can be reached by dialing
#3450 or 1-222-3450.
