Shikun Ovdim, Inc. announced it intends to open the large new
mall in Givatayim on Shabbosim. Mayor Effi Shtentzler voiced
strong opposition, warning he will petition the court for a
closure order if the mall opens its doors on Shabbos. Shas retracted on Monday a no-confidence motion it submitted
after Interior Minister Ophir Pines-Paz announced last week
that he did not intend to enforce the Chometz Law.

The Summer Clock (Daylight Savings Time) begins Thursday

Shabbos Shuvoh at 2:00 am when clocks get set one hour
