Notice Regarding Wigs Originating in India
At the behest of ateres rosheinu Maran HaRav Yosef
Sholom Eliashiv shlita, and with the consent of the
beis din that issued kashrus certification to readdress
the hechsher given to wigs originating in India,
following a close examination of the matter we have reached
the conclusion that due to the severity of idol worship there
is room to adopt a stringent approach by not issuing kashrus
certification unless mashgichim are present at the
production site.
