Bi'ur Ma'asros Notice from Keren Hama'asros of England

To The Editor:

We wish to remind your readers that this year Bi'ur Ma'asros applies.

This means that all coins with kedushas ma'aser sheini on them (used to transfer the kedushoh of ma'aser sheini onto them during the past four years) must be eliminated before Pesach.

Keren Hama'asros of England is happy to offer the public that anyone who has his own coins containing kedushas ma'aser sheini or reva'i, may transfer the kedushoh onto the coins of Keren Hama'asros of England.

The following text should be said:

`Ma'aser sheini or reva'i which is contained in any of my coins, should each be redeemed onto a prutoh in the coins of Keren Hama'asros of England, according to their conditions.'

All UK residents, including those not currently registered, may use this service. All other usage requires registration, which is free of charge. Please note that Keren Hama'asros is not available for use after 7:30 p.m. on Erev Shabbos Hagodol (13th Nisan) until the beginning of Chol Hamoed, neither after 7:30 p.m. on Erev Shevi'i shel Pesach until after Yom Tov.

Further inquiries regarding bi'ur ma'asros or other issues of terumos and ma'asros can be addressed to:

Rabbi Ch. Krausz 0191 490 1822 or Rabbi Y. Galandauer 07941532223.

Yours sincerely,

(Rabbi) Y. Galandauer

Director of Keren Hama'asros of England
