Arachim Initiates Course in New York City
by Yated Ne'eman Staff

Arachim will hold a training course for lecturers in New York City for the first time ever next week. It is designed for rabbis, yeshiva students and other activists.

The course is being run by Arachim in cooperation with Netivot which is under the management of Rabbi Izik Ginzburger. The course will prepare its graduates to function more professionally in kiruv settings bringing Jewish souls closer to tradition, as well as in seminars similar to those held on a regular basis in Israel.

The participants will be honored by the presence of the Admor of Novominsk, Rosh of Agudas Yisroel of America and a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of the American Agudah, as well as HaRav Matisyahu Salomon, mashgiach of the Lakewood Yeshiva. The course will be conducted by highly experienced lecturers from Israel who will share their knowledge and experience garnered from hundreds of Israeli seminars. Among these senior lecturers are Rabbi Simcha Cohen, Rabbi Daniel Nassie (lecturer and Head of the Training Division of Arachim), Rabbi Aharon Levi and Rabbi Ynon Kalazan.

Hundreds will participate in the various lectures. An extensive range of literature and other materials will also be distributed. The talks will be on many themes, including, "Constructive Communication," "Foundations of Truth," "Torah and Science," "Non-Verbal Communication," "Emotional Intelligence," and many more. The meetings will be during the afternoon and evening hours.

Rabbi Yosef Valis, Director General of Arachim, said that this series of lectures is designed to help kiruv efforts and related activities, in a manner and style that is compatible with the lifestyle and unique needs of American audiences. Rabbi Valis also said that the syllabus of the course was developed under guidance of maranan verabonon gedolei HaTorah and vehachassidus.
