Alterations in Egged Schedules Before and After
Shabbos

Egged is now providing later bus service on Friday
afternoons, with city buses running in Jerusalem until 5:30
p.m. The last bus on Line 402 from Jerusalem to Bnei Brak
departs at 5:00 p.m.
On motzei Shabbos, Egged buses begin running 40
minutes after Shabbos ends. These changes will remain in
effect until daylight savings time ends.
According to an Egged spokesman, additional buses will
operate on Fridays on Line 982 from Jerusalem to Tzfat and
Meron, departing every half hour from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
p.m.
