Agudas Yisroel of America Holds Yarchei Kallah in Jerusalem

The impressive three-day Yarchei Kallah held by Agudas Yisroel of America in Jerusalem last week drew dramatic visits by HaRav Aharon Leib Steinman, HaRav Shmuel Auerbach, HaRav Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz, HaRav Nosson Tzvi Finkel, the Admor of Gur and the Admor of Sanz.

After ma'ariv Tuesday evening, following a long day of intensive learning, participants were treated to a visit by HaRav Steinman and the Admor from Gur. Rabbi Shmuel Bloom, Executive Vice President of Agudas Yisroel of America, opened the evening session with a few remarks about Agudas Yisroel's tasks, noting that the Chofetz Chaim said the total Redemption has been delayed several times in order to allow Am Yisroel a chance to fully prepare for the Moshiach's arrival by amassing more Torah and mitzvos.

Toward this end the Chofetz Chaim and the other gedolim of his generation endeavored to set up the Agudas Yisroel movement, which has since made tremendous achievements in Am Yisroel,
