A Letter of Chizuk from HaRav Aharon Yehuda Leib
Shteinman, shlita
To the Shomer Torah Umitzvos Community:
As you all know the present circumstances Klal Yisroel
is facing--both at the hands of the nations of the world
without, where hatred for Yisroel has increased greatly in
nearly every country, and Klal Yisroel's state of
ruchniyus within--need great rachamim. What can
one do to save himself [from this state of affairs]?
Netanyahu Recovery Plan for Israeli Economy

with Iraq that could break out any time, Finance Minister

sweeping new economic plan that takes something from
everyone.
Palestinians Use Ambulances for Terrorism

On March 10, 2003, Isalam Jibril, a Red Crescent ambulance
driver, was charged with using ambulances to transport

Animals and Holocaust Victims Compared
by Yated Ne'eman Staff
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' (PETA) new
exhibition, is to be displayed in cities across the United
States. It consists of eight 60-square-foot panels depicting
photographs of farm and slaughterhouse scenes side-by-side
with photographs of Nazi death camp victims. Naked, emaciated
men are juxtaposed with a gaggle of chickens; pigs behind
bars with starving children behind barbed wire; mounds of
human corpses with mounds of cow carcasses. The unspoken but
unmistakable message is the group's long-time slogan "Meat is
Murder."
Wave of Increased Missionary Activity Around the

Citizens around the country file dozens of complaints about

OPINION &
COMMENT
Is There Residual Value in the Stock Market Bubble?
Three years ago this month the US stock markets reached a
peak. All the major measures of market prices were at the
highest level that they had ever reached. Since that pinnacle
they have gone way down.
