World Agudas Yisroel Executive Board to Meet in
Jerusalem

The Agudas Yisroel Executive Board is scheduled to convene
next week in Jerusalem to discuss current issues affecting
the chareidi world in Eretz Yisroel and abroad. World
Executive Committee Chairman Rabbi Yehuda Meir Abramowitz
recently sent out invitations to the conference to members of
the Executive Board living around the world.
The conference, scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday, will
address several important topics: saving the Torah world and
Torah education in Eretz Yisroel and ensuring their continued
existence, the severe economic decrees against the chareidi
sector in Eretz Yisroel and the blow to large families,
spiritual assistance for Jews living in Eastern European
countries and protecting cemeteries in Eastern Europe.
Other meetings will deal with organizational matters for the
World Agudas Yisroel, setting a date for the World Executive
Committee plenum session, the establishment of new chapters
in various parts of the world and strengthening existing
chapters. Participants will hear a report on activities by
World Agudas Yisroel representatives in international
institutions.
The previous Executive Board meeting was held in Bournemouth,
England in 5759.
