storm. UTJ MKs Demand Investigation of Universities' Double
Budgets
At a meeting last week dealing with the budgets of Israel's
institutions of higher learning, the Knesset Finance
Committee raised a demand for an immediate investigation of
double budgets granted by government ministries -- mainly the
Ministry of Education -- to institutions of higher learning

One may say Kiddush Levonoh in the entire world until Wednesday night, the eve of 14 Teves (Dec. 22), at 11:42 P.M., Israeli time. The final time in most of Europe is 10:42 P.M., and in eastern America 6:42 P.M. In most of America including the southeast it is impossible at all to make a berochoh this night and the actual final time for people living there is the previous night. In the extreme eastern countries one may make Kiddush Levonoh the entire Wednesday night.
