Mifal Torah Vodaath Holds Annual Melave Malke

by Yated Ne'eman Staff

Mifal Torah Vodaath extends a cordial invitation to its friends, patrons and supporters to attend the yearly melave malke, which will be held iy"H this motzoei Shabbos Parshas Vayakheil (March 4th), in the Bais Yaakov of Brooklyn (16th St. and 49th Street).

Founded in 1968 by the Torah pioneer and builder R' Binyomin Wilhelm, z"l, after he moved to Israel, Mifal played a major role in turning the tide that was destroying the future of Sephardic youth. R' Wilhelm played a major role in founding the Mesifta Torah Vodaath in Brooklyn before moving to Eretz Yisroel.

There are today, boruch Hashem, literally thousands of observant families in Israel thanks to Mifal Torah Vodaath.

The 48 after-school daily study groups, spread throughout the inner city communities of Jerusalem and Tiberias, bring Torah and mitzvos to 1,600 boys and girls.

Mifal is a non-partisan organization and the melave malke is a major source of income. Great effort has been invested to provide an interesting and inspiring program.

HaRav Yisroel Belsky, rosh yeshiva in Mesifta Torah Vodaath will talk on the future goals of Mifal Torah Vodaath.
