Zos Chanukah is known as known as a propitious day for
the acceptance of our tefillos. In light of the
difficult drought prevailing in Eretz Yisroel, where no
substantial rains have fallen even though the month of Kislev
has already passed and also because of the many people who
are suffering from serious illnesses, throngs of
Yerushalayim's Jews, along with the children of the
talmudei Torah attended a public prayer gathering on
Monday, the 2nd of Teves in the Zichron Moshe shul of
Yerushalayim, at two in the afternoon. The entire
Tehillim was read, and at the conclusion, the prayer
of Aneinu Borei Olom was recited.
The land is thirsty for water, and many ill people await a
yeshua. May our fervent prayers be accepted Above.
