Last week, a group of avreichim fulfilled the mitzvah
of "gathering the bones of the ancients." The remains were
from graves that had been desecrated in a shocking,
disgraceful manner by archaeologists conducting diggings in
the Elad-Mazor area.
In strict adherence to halocho, the volunteers buried
all the bones, which they found scattered like dung on a
field in the area near the graves.
The burial was organized by the Association for Prevention of
Desecration of Graves.
