They Should Ask Us for
Advice
They say that they are concerned about our children. They say
that our children spend their time studying ancient texts,
full of material that is not "relevant" to modern life.
Chareidi children probably do not know when the French
Revolution took place, and never learned trigonometry.
HOME & FAMILY
Charity Begins at Home
by R. Chadshai
You dress more casually at home than you would outside. Your
general conduct is more relaxed and you are not too
particular about the minutiae of manners. You speak more
freely, and in general, do and say things which you would not
dream of doing outside your own home.

Additional Luach Information-
The last day for Kiddush Levonoh -- Tammuz
One can say Kiddush Levonoh in the entire world until
Monday night, the eve of 15 Tammuz (July 28), at 8:18 P.M.,
according to the Summer Clock, Israeli time. In Europe and
America it is altogether impossible for people to make a
brocho at that time and their final time is the
previous night. However, in the remote eastern countries it
is possible to make a brocho almost the entire night.
In Eretz Yisroel 8:18 P.M. is before the time that three
medium size stars appear but it is preferable to make a
brocho before that time than to forfeit the
brocho altogether. Nonetheless, one should be careful
to say Kiddush Levonoh as close as possible to the
final time. In Bnei Brak-Tel Aviv and the surrounding cities
one should make the brocho at 8:17-8:18 P.M.
The astronomical full moon is at 12:37 A.M., approximately
four and a third hours later than the nigud emtzo'i.
It is preferable to make a brocho when it is surely
night although after the nigud emtzo'i since it is
anyway before the astronomical full moon and within 15 full
days from the molad. Likewise it is therefore possible
to make a brocho in Europe on this night.
