HaRav Eliashiv, the pillar all of Beis Yisroel lean on, is being treated by top doctors in the Intensive Care Unit at Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
Tefilloh gatherings were held in all chareidi areas in Eretz Yisroel and abroad. In addition, rabbonim and roshei yeshivas gave talks in yeshivas and kollelim, talmudei Torah and Beis Yaakov schools, on the obligation for both groups and individuals to pray and plead for the remnant of exalted Torah scholars, and to strengthen ourselves in Torah study.
