The civil court has handing down an order to shut down two batei knesses in Rishon LeZion, thus carrying on the religious harassment resulting from small mindedness and jealousy of the great thirst for spirituality on the upswing throughout the country.

Bereaved and crushed, thousands bnei Torah, students and alumni of Yeshivas Beis Binyamin in Stam ford, alongside gedolei Yisroel and roshei yeshiva, accompanied the remains of HaRav Simcha Shustal zt"l, one of the elder roshei yeshiva in the U.S. and foremost Torah disseminators of this present generation, to his final rest. A disciple of the great Torah scholars and roshei yeshiva of the past generation, he was the rosh yeshiva of Beis Binyamin and author of Chemed Simcha, two volumes on Shas and Seder Kodshim, and produced tens of thousands of talmidim over many decades. He passed away after suffering from illness these past several months, to the distress of his myriads of disciples in the U.S. and throughout the world. The funeral left from Yeshivas Lakewood Tuesday morning and continued on to Yeshivas Beis Binyamin, which he led. Wednesday afternoon, it resumed from Yeshivas Beis Shmuel, Jerusalem, en route to Har Hazeisim.


Thousands Attend The Funeral Of The Mashgiach HaRav Avraham Salomon Zt"l

Broken and bereaved, thousands of the talmidim and alumni of Yeshivas Chevron of the past decades, gedolei Torah, roshei yeshiva and rabbonim escorted HaRav Avraham Salomon zt"l to his final rest. The deceased served as the menahel ruchani of Yeshivas Chevron for forty years and was instrumental in guiding tens of thousands, molding their characters and building their spiritual world along the lines which he received from his masters, the Chevron roshei yeshiva. R' Salomon passed away on Thursday after midnight, at the age of eighty-eight, to the loss of masses of students, adherents and family members.
