Workers Continue to Raze Ancient Jaffa Cemetery

By Yechiel Sever

Hundreds took part in a tefillah and protest rally at the site of the ancient Jewish cemetery in Jaffa on Tuesday 25 Cheshvan following ongoing desecration of the dead lying buried at the site, where new burial caves were recently discovered.

According to difficult accounts heard from those praying at the site, the bulldozers continue their incessant destruction and have even begun removing bones, completely disregarding the censure of Torah-true Jewry.

As reported previously, the extensive groundwork at the site was undertaken to build a monstrous real estate project, wreaking destruction on the ancient cemetery. On Tuesday hundreds of demonstrators called on the construction workers to put a stop to their devastation and disrespect for the dead, in an effort to save the graves that have not yet been razed.
