Magen David Adom Treated 2,200 People During Yom Kippur

Magen David Adom teams treated 2,200 people during the course of Yom Kippur. Twenty-three people who felt ill or sustained injuries were treated at Magen David Adom stations. Fifty people fainted as a result of the fast and 16 had to be resuscitated. Magen David Adom teams were also summoned to transport 102 birthing mothers to hospitals. Thirty-eight people were injured in 18 traffic accidents around the country Erev Yom Kippur.
