With regard to the elevators that are called "Shabbos Elevators," and with regard to the fact that with the development of technical knowledge things change all the time. We were shown a technical opinion in writing and via oral presentation from technicians and engineers who are experts and certified in elevators. It became clear to us that using these elevators, whether going up or down, actions are caused that relate to melochos deOraisa. One should not rely on any institute or similar body which certify this equipment, because it is a matter that relates to a full and serious chilul Shabbos.
