HaRav Shteinman Visits HaRav Eliashiv to Discuss Current
Affairs

Like every year, HaRav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman arrived
at the home of Maran HaRav Yosef Sholom Eliashiv on Tuesday
to exchange blessings for the new year. During their meeting
the two gedolei Yisroel shlita discussed various
issues currently on the agenda.
They spoke highly of Mishmar HaTorah, the new beis din
established to uphold standards of modesty, praising and
blessing all those who follow the guidelines set by the
beis din. The also blessed all those who make
contributions to Vaad HaRabbonim LeInyonei Tzedokoh Be'eretz
Hakodesh.
The two gedolei hador went on to confer on halochos
related to canceling debts (shmittas kesofim),
pruzbol and other topics related to Rosh Hashana.
