Gedolei Yisroel Attend Tsnius Chizuk Gatherings in Bnei
Brak and Jerusalem

Gedolei Yisroel held gatherings in Bnei Brak and
Jerusalem to address seminary heads regarding the heavy
responsibility they bear for strengthening kedushas
Yisroel and tsnius.
The events began with a meeting at the home of HaRav Shmuel
Halevy Wosner shlita, attended by HaRav Michel Yehuda
Lefkowitz and the Admor of Gur shlita. They were
welcomed by HaRav Moshe Shaul Klein, a moreh tzedek in
HaRav Wosner's beis din, who said the gathering was
intended to give prominence to the issue of tsnius.
"Educating bnos Yisroel includes many values, but
tsnius is the top rung on the ladder. Each of the
principals, who head [institutions that shape] the future
generation, must place modesty first and he will be graced
from Above with the power to exert an influence of maximum
tsnius and kedushoh."
Speakers included HaRav Wosner, HaRav Lefkowitz, HaRav Klein
and HaRav Yaakov Weltzer, principal of the Vishnitz Beis
Yaakov Seminary in Bnei Brak.
At the Zevihl Halls in Jerusalem hundreds of principals were
on hand — including hundreds of ladies in an adjacent
hall — when Maran HaRav Yosef Sholom Eliashiv and HaRav
Aharon Leib Shteinman arrived. HaRav Shteinman's speech was
followed by a talk by HaRav Aviezer Piltz, rosh yeshiva of
Yeshivas Tifrach.
