Bezeq International CEO Meets With Rabbi Elimelech

"Sometimes progress can even save lives," Rabbi Elimelech
Firrer, chairman of Ezra Lemarpei, told Bezeq International
CEO Itzik Benbenisti during a meeting between the two last
week at the organization's offices in Bnei Brak after the
company doubled its contribution to the chessed
organization.
For the past several years Bezeq International has provided
free of charge an international, broadband communications
line allowing high-speed voice and video communications. In
light of the Rabbi Firrer's complex communications needs, the
company recently decided to double the speed of the line at
his disposal.
During the course of their meeting it was revealed that Rabbi
Firrer has been a Bezeq International customer for 11 years,
from the days of international calling when he would speak
with doctors around the world by phone until the present
time, when he regularly sends material from patients' medical
files for expert physicians outside of Israel to view and
offer their opinion.
Rabbi Firrer said Bezeq International's advanced technologies
allow him to carry out his work with great efficiency that
sometimes even saves lives. Benbenisti told Rabbi Firrer that
Bezeq International is proud to continue placing its services
and capabilities at his disposal in order to assist with the
holy work he does together with the members of Ezra
Lemarpei.
