Pampers Ends Fourth Annual Fundraising Campaign
by Yated Ne'eman Staff
The Pampers Chessed campaign, held for the fourth consecutive
year, ended recently with unprecedented success. Chasdei
Naomi volunteers were happy to see that the public responded
positively to requests to take part in the campaign, sending
thousands of proofs of purchase of Pampers diapers to Chasdei
Naomi offices and collection booths.
Based on these proofs of purchase the company will donate
thousands of packages of high-quality disposable diapers to
the organization for distribution to needy families.
"We were very glad to see educational institutions around the
country joined numerous consumers in working toward the goal
of collecting as many proofs of purchase as possible," said
Rabbi Yosef Cohen, chairman of Chasdei Naomi, "thereby
maximizing the donation Pampers made for needy families and
providing these families the best diaper available."
Noam Taube, director of Pampers Israel, said, "The
chessed campaign run by Pampers and Chasdei Naomi is
now in its fourth year and has become a tradition in the
chareidi public and another step in strengthening the ties
between Pampers and the [chareidi] sector. Those who
participated in the campaign merited a great act of
chessed, providing both children of needy families and
their own children the world's best diaper."
