Dozens of Local Rabbonim Named Representatives of Vaad
HaRabbonim LeInyonei Tzedokoh

A gala event headed by Maran HaRav Yosef Sholom Eliashiv
shlita, roshei yeshivos, dayonim and rabbonim from all
parts of Eretz Yisroel was held in Jerusalem on 30 Shevat to
appoint dozens of rabbonim from across the country new
members of Vaad HaRabbonim LeInyonei Tzedokoh Be'eretz
Hakodesh.
Hundreds were on hand for the historic event. The dais was
graced by HaRav Eliashiv, HaRav Chaim Pinchos Scheinberg,
HaRav Dov Yaffeh, HaRav Boruch Mordechai Ezrachi, HaRav Dovid
Cohen, HaRav Ezriel Auerbach, HaRav Yehoshua Ehrenberg, HaRav
Leib Mintzberg, the Admor of Tzanz, the Admor of Tchernobyl,
the Admor of Boyan, the Admor of Tchernobyl-Ashdod and
others. At the tables were the rabbonim from cities from all
parts of Eretz Yisroel.
At this stately event in honor of Torah and chessed,
maranan verabonon empowered dozens of rabbonim to act
as shluchim of gedolei Yisroel shlita by
overseeing the Vaad's blessed endeavors in every corner of
Eretz Yisroel, giving every needy person in his
locality personal attention.
