Memorial Gathering for Yaakov Yisroel Citron z"l

A his'orerus gathering was held for yeshiva and
kollel students on Erev Rosh Chodesh Nisan in
Jerusalem's Ramat Polin neighborhood to give chizuk
for the summer zman and in memory of yeshiva student
Yaakov Yisroel Citron z"l, who lost his life
tragically just two days after Pesach ended.
Speakers included HaRav Zevulun Shub, rosh yeshiva of the
yeshiva gedoloh in Ramat Shlomo, and HaRav Zeev Cohen,
a ram at Yeshivas Meor HaTalmud.
Yaakov Yisroel Citron was the 15-year-old son of HaRav
Michoel Citron, a ram at Yeshivas Chochmas Shlomo in
Jerusalem's Bayit Began neighborhood and at yeshivas Chazon
Boruch in France. The deceased's mother is the daughter of
HaRav Avrohom Altman, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Ateres Tzvi in
Ashdod.
During a trip to the Golan Heights organized by his yeshiva
he slipped on a rock and drowned in a stream.
