Beis Hamedrash LeHalochoh in the Settlements Sponsors Two-
Day Seminar in Jerusalem and Bnei Brak

Beis Hamedrash LeHalochoh in the Settlements, under the
leadership of HaRav Yosef Efrati, held its 54th seminar this
week, focusing on the topic of separating terumos
umaaseros in the home kitchen.
The first day of the two-day event opened Monday afternoon in
Jerusalem at Beis Knesses Blumental with a lecture by HaRav
Ezriel Auerbach, rov of Chanichei Hayeshivos in Bayit Vegan
and a member of the Shearis Yisroel Beis Din, who spoke about
demai. He was followed by HaRav Yosef Efrati, who
discussed practical questions that arise at stores, factories
and packing houses. Lectures were also given by HaRav Shaul
Reichenberg, editor of the Talmud Yerushalmi published
by the Beis Medrash, and HaRav Yehuda Bauer. The day was
capped with a central talk by HaRav Yitzchok Sheiner, rosh
yeshiva of Yeshivas Kamenitz.
Tuesday's program, held at Beis Medrash Nachalas Moshe in
Bnei Brak, began with a lecture by HaRav Mordechai Gross,
av beis din of Chanichei Hayeshivos in Bnei Brak and a
member of the Shearis Yisroel Beis Din, who discussed current
applications of the demai measure Chazal instituted.
Shiurim were also given by HaRav Efrati and HaRav
Reichenberg.
