Life Sentence for Murderer of Yeshiva Student Shmuel Mett

The Jerusalem District Court handed down a life sentence and
another 20 years' imprisonment for the murderer of Shmuel
Mett Hy"d, who was studying at Yeshivas Mir in
Jerusalem.
The killer, Abed el-Muaz of Hevron, was captured by police
shortly after the savage attack in the Old City. One year ago
he used a kitchen knife to stab Mett and another yeshiva
student who sustained moderate injuries.
