To Prevent Stumbling Blocks
It is proper for women who come to the beis knesses to
pray to leave before the end of the tefilloh, i.e.
immediately following Oleinu Leshabei'ach. They should
hurry home without waiting near the beis knesses for
their family members. They will thereby prevent stumbling
blocks involving several Torah prohibitions that are
associated with arayos, as explicated in Even
Ha'ezer 21.
Certainly this practice is the middas chassidus, as
opposed to leaving at the end of the tefilloh which
leads to serious stumbling blocks as mentioned. As the
Sefer Chassidim says, "Every mitzvah performed through
a transgression is better not to have been done at all"
(393). By maintaining this level of kedushoh, may we
merit the coming of the complete Geulah speedily in
our days and as Chazal say, Am Yisroel "is destined to
be redeemed through righteous women."
We have signed this so that we will see fulfilled in our
community the Torah's exhortation, "Ki Hashem Elokecho
mis'halech bekerev machanecho lehatzilcho veloseis oyvecho
lifonecho . . . velo yeiro'eh becho ervas dovor veshov
mei'acharecho," chas vesholom.

merited a great thing through this proposal based on what the
holy Chazal said (Succah 51) that on Simchas Beis
Hasho'eivoh a major reform was made . . . With blessings to
all who accept this,
