Rabbi Ravitz Instructs Welfare Ministry to Advance NII
Allotments

Deputy Welfare Minister MK Rabbi Avrohom Ravitz told Yated
Ne'eman that he directed Bituach Leumi officials to
advance payment of insurance allotments as Pesach approaches
in consideration of the special needs of families with
limited means.
Payments scheduled for April 28th—allotments for the
elderly and surviving relatives, the handicapped, handicapped
children, special services, work disability and dependents,
the immobilized, basic necessities (mezonot) and
Guaranteed Income ("Havtachat Hachnasah")—will
be moved up to 10 Nisan (Tuesday, April 19th). Children's
Allowances will be paid as usual on April 20th (11 Nisan).
Bituach Leumi General Director Dr. Yigal Ben Shalom said that
Bituach Leumi employees are following the directives issued
by Rabbi Ravitz to execute payments according to the revised
schedule in order to bring holiday joy to needy families.
