Several missionaries distributed reading material at a food
festival held at the Tel Aviv Exhibition Grounds.
Upon receiving a report of the missionary presence at the
event, Lev L'Achim workers arrived immediately to try to
prevent the material from being handed out and to collect
books already handed out.
When the missionaries realized their scheme was not
succeeding they threatened the Lev L'Achim workers and even
attacked one of them, trying to strangle him. Lev L'Achim
filed a complaint with Tel Aviv Police.
Recently missionaries have been stepping up their activities,
particularly at large gatherings. The public is asked to
remain vigilant and report any missionary activity.
