Keep Smiling

Short inspirational pieces by Avrohom Tzvi Schwartz, Kiryat Sefer, author of A Handful of Light, Hearts on Fire and other works on Mussar and Hashkofa

Who Do You Think You Are?

The way you act demonstrates who you think you are.

What you achieve daily, weekly, in your lifetime, demonstrates who you think you are.

That which interests you demonstrates who you think you are.

How happy you are demonstrates who you think you are.

Almost everything about you demonstrates who you think you are.

So the question is, "Who do you think you are?"

But surely, "Who you are" decides who you think you are. Surely it is reality that creates self perception.

No. The truth is just the opposite. It is "Who you think you are" that decides who you are.

Now all you need is to adjust and improve "Who you think you are" and swing your life into the sunshine.
