Major New Appointment at Binoh of Manchester
by Yated Ne'eman Staff

Binoh of Manchester has strengthened its teaching staff with the appointment of Reb Avrohom Goldstone as Limudei Kodesh Coordinator. Reb Avrohom brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the position and has a highly impressive track record in the world of Anglo Jewish chinuch.

An alumnus of Gateshead Yeshiva, he taught for 35 years in The Menorah Primary School, Northwest London, as Senior Limudei Kodesh Teacher. He was also responsible for the school's One! Torah scheme of extracurricular activities. Simultaneously, he established and guided the limudei kodesh curriculum in the Beis Yaakov Primary School, Northwest London, where he was the Senior Kodesh teacher for 17 years.

Reb Avrohom also has great experience in introducing new programs and teaching patterns. Over 20 years ago he undertook a three month fact-finding tour of the Torah Umesorah school network in North America. The result of this tour was the production of a groundbreaking report which lead to many changes in the style and curriculum of limudei kodesh teaching in several London schools. Reb Avrohom who has given regular shiurim in schools and seminaries in the teaching of Chumash and Rashi skills is shortly to commence such a training course for Binoh.

Rabbi Sholom Grant, Director of Services, said, "Reb Avrohom's unparalleled track record will allow Binoh to co- ordinate and monitor its range of teaching programs at both primary and secondary level. It is a great step forward in the consolidation of our core work and activities."
