Simchas Beis Hasho'eivoh In Melbourne

Hundreds of children and adults including rabbonim, headed by
the moro d'asra, HaRav A Z Beck attended the annual
Simchas Beis Hasho'evoh celebrations in the Adass Hall on the
first night of Chol Hamoed Succos.
As in the past, the evening was sponsored by Mrs. Rechel
Lowin and family in memory of her husband Yiddel, who
introduced this event to Melbourne in 1969 when he returned
from studying in yeshiva in Israel.
Music was provided by Chazzan Yumi Rosenbaum of the Elwood
Shul and his renowned band.
Mr. Yossel Friedman led the children with his "Emmess" dance
[see photograph] -- an innovation of his which which he has
being doing on Simchas Torah and Simchas Beis Hasho'eivoh for
over 30 years.
