Following recently publicized material about these issues,
that Vaadat HaRabbonim of Degel HaTorah hereby makes it
clear:
a. Degel HaTorah operates in accordance with the directives
of rabboseinu maranan gedolei Yisroel shlita in the
matter of coalition negotiations.
b. The Knesset members were told sitting in a coalition with
the Shinui Party constitutes chilul Hashem
c. The opinion of rabboseinu gedolei Yisroel is that
just as has always been the case, even as members of the
governing coalition Degel HaTorah should not assume any
ministerial posts.
