Conference Marks Anniversary of Yeshivas Masmidim

At an elaborate event led by gedolei Torah, roshei
yeshivos and the rov of the kehilloh, avreichim
and talmidim associated with Kehal Adas Yerushalayim --
Yeshivas Hamasmidim gathered motzei Shabbos Parshas
Tzav to mark the yeshiva's fifty-fourth anniversary.
Over one thousand avreichim streamed in to celebrate
the event and to give thanks to Hashem for over five decades
of activity during which its ranks swelled to thousands of
participants and marbitzei Torah in Jerusalem and the
surrounding area.
The hundreds of participants rose to their feet when HaRav
Shmuel Auerbach arrived. He asked Rav Tzvi Weisfish to speak
in his name in honor of the event. The rov of the
kehilloh, HaRav Leib Mintzberg, was the keynote
speaker, followed by the guest of honor, Rav Osher
Lustigerman, who took part in Yeshivas Hamasmidim during its
period of growth twenty and thirty years ago. The closing
speech was given by HaRav Azriel Auerbach, rov of Chanichei
Hayeshivos in Bayit Vegan.

I extend my blessings to the members of Yeshivas Hamasmidim
as they gather together to honor the anniversary of the
founding of their yeshiva headed by the renowned gaon,
Rav L. Mintzberg, shlita, who guides them on the paths
of Torah and yir'oh to show them wisdom and
understanding according to Torah law.
May Hashem's grace be upon them to strengthen their
kehilloh and its holy institutions to increase the
honor of Heaven.
