Improvement of one's middos is the stepping stone for
spiritual advancement and the attainment of yiras
Shomayim. With this principle in mind, a group of
askonim has organized an impressive all-day Hebrew
seminar to be held this bein hazmanim in Bnei Brak.
This seminar, which has merited the encouragement and
guidance of maranan verabonon, will stress the
importance of improving our middos within our homes,
in accordance with the teachings of our great mussar
sages. Practical direction and counsel will be offered by
prominent rabbonim who are involved in this important area
the entire year.
The planning committee relates that the seminar's topics will
cover every aspect of the Jewish home. Among the topics to be
discussed are effective communication, respecting one's
follow, and the art of giving. The fact that many
avreichim -- both young and old -- as well as
chassonim about to build their own Jewish homes, have
registered for this seminar, indicates that the topics on its
agenda are of primary importance to the chareidi
community.
Among the speakers are: HaRav Yitzchok Zilberstein, HaRav
Binyomin Finkel, HaRav Simcha Cohen and HaRav Aharon Moshe
Shotowitz.
The seminar will be held in Bnei Brak on Monday, the 13th of
Menachem Av.
