Ma'ariv reports that the Menorah and the Hachsharat
Hayishuv Insurance companies have announced that they are
lowering their rates for comprehensive car insurance by 10%.
The directors of the companies explained that the lowering of
the rates is due to the decrease in car thefts, and the
stabilization of the rate of theft at a relatively low
level.
Menorah is lowering the tariffs by an average of 7%. The
reduction in certain models will reach 15%. Ari Kelman, the
senior director in Menorah, said that during the first
quarter of the year the company earned 7.4 million shekel
from holdings insurance. He said that it was decided to grant
the reduction in order to support the company's agents and to
increase the client base.
The Hachsharat Hayishuv insurance company decided on a

starting July 1. The company made it clear that the tariffs
