"To strengthen the Palestinian Authority." This is the message issuing from the top government officials beginning with Prime Minister Lapid, via Security Minister Gantz and on to additional present government members. To strengthen the [Palestinian] security staff and personnel including Abu Maazen and the entire body of those criminals, because the alternative of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad is apparently worse.
But just a reminder: this selfsame P.A. continues to pay monthly salaries to murderers of Jews. The Lavi organization which is involved in proper administration reveals data about the actual scope of this support of murderers.
A Palestinian who hurt a Jew and was sentenced to two years, will nonetheless receive 1,400 shekel a month. One who succeeded in killing and was sentenced to 30 years, will receive a monthly stipend of 12,000 shekel. There is an explicit price for Jewish blood. More blood is worth more money. And everything is anchored in the laws of the Palestinian Authority.
And that is not all. They also concern themselves for those sitting in jail, who anyway receive three meals a day and enjoy all kinds of benefits which Jewish prisoners don't even dream about. But the P.A. also concerns itself with supplying pampering. Every jail has a canteen which sells candies etc. The Authority sees to it that each prisoner has a significant sum for these goodies, according to a set standard. It injects a monthly 400 shekel allotment per prisoner, added to routine sums which the government provides. Hamas citizens from the territories receive 1200 shekel per month. Prisoners from other organizations from the territories receive 1600 shekel monthly including the regular support from the Palestinian Authority.
Incredible that this is actually happening under our very noses and no one does a thing to stop this madness. If such a thing were to happen anywhere else in the world and someone would be paying salaries to murderers of Jews, the State of Israel would raise a cry, a protest, and would overturn worlds to stop such a thing. But here it is standard, routine, as if it were altogether understandable to set a fee or recompense for spilt Jewish blood.
And they continue to talk about "minimizing the conflict" of multiplicity and a peace agreement. They forget who is actually paying for this bloodshed, which should demand circumspection from all transactions and peace agreements of any kind.
