On Friday March 29-22 Adar II Israel Changes the Clock

On Thursday night at 2:00 a.m., Israel ushers in the summer clock, known in the USA as Daylight Savings Time, for the coming seven months, and phase out standard time. Israeli residents [if awake] will move their clocks forward one hour to 3:00, as the rule is: "Spring forward, Fall back."
In most European countries, clocks will go over to summer time on motzei Shabbos by similarly moving their clocks forward one hour. It is interesting to note that this move will put sunrise in Europe and Israel identical in time for several days.
