Advice from HaRav Edelstein for Ben Hazmanim

A delegation of roshei yeshivos from the Ichud Bnei HaYeshivos visited HaRav Gershon Edelstein at his home to discuss and hear from him recommendations for conduct in bein hazmanim. Those attending and raising the issues were led by HaRav Chizkiyahu Mishkovsky, HaRav Avrohom Yitzchok Hakohen Kook and HaRav Tzvi Drabkin, but other roshei yeshiva were also in attendance.

Terrorist Prisoners Do Whatever Damage They Can

"The fact that high security prisoners consume 50 percent more water is intolerable and we must not allow such waste," said Gilad Erdan, the Israeli Minister of Internal Security. "I have ordered the Prisons Services to urgently determine other ways to bring about conservation of water in those wings where terrorists are housed including limiting the hours in which they may take showers and also limiting the length of the showers."

Miriam longed to get away for a short holiday to the sea, but sadly, she knew it would not be possible this year. The local girls' school where she taught English did not pay its staff over the summer and recent large dental bills had wiped out all vacation plans.
