Rain and Kinneret Watch

Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret - 5777.

As of February 16 (20 Shvat) 308 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 82% of the average rainfall for this period and 57% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.

It was a wet week in Israel.

The current level of the Kinneret is -213.23 meters below sea level, which is below the lower red line of -213 meters. The level rose 10 centimeters over the last week.
